Drive in Sci-Fi: Night Of The Blood Beast (1958)

Rocket crashes into earth and the astronaut is dead. They bring it back to their base. We also find out it is a first person that reached outer atmosphere, so anything is possible "out there". Especially knowing how far movies tended to go back then. The communication from the base is dead, nothing is responding to them. They also find that the blood if the guy is still alive and has alien bacteria in it. they decide that they are all exposed and have to be quarantined and then decide to go to nearest town for supplies. a good quarantine!. the power in the base stops, even their wrist watches stops. all this is caused by some very powerful magnetic force. The dead astronaut returns as the doctor is being found dead and they blame him before the monster barges in the door and gets shot many times. it ignores the shots but is scared by fire. the astronaut screams not to shoot him and that its peaceful but they decide to kill him anyway. well somebody killed the doctor so i guess their right.
They make a search party for the beast while leaving the doctors assistant alone with seduced astronaut. They face the monster but it gets away once again. The astronaut talks them into talking to the creature first. They organize a meeting with a mosnter and then the monster starts to explain that he is not there to harm them but to help them. However they kill him regardless.

Story: 3/10. Pretty bad and very lineral.
Acting: 3/10. nothing great either but its standard for low budget sci-fi back then.
Sound: 2/10. the usual.
Sci factor: 4/10. well it wasn't that bad with the blood cells and so on.
Lasting Appeal: 3/10. monster trying to breed in human hosts sounds like Alien to me.
Overall rating: 3/10.
