Monter From Green Hell (1958)

If you take notice of the face of the main actor this perfectly sums up the whole movie.
A group of scientists send bunch of animals into space to test cosmic radiation on them. they loose contact with them and rocket crash-lands in Africa. It manadges to land in a land called "green hell" that supersticiuos locals fear. Obviuosly the animals are no much larger (a common trait with radiation it seems, would you like to grow bigger? get radiated!) and attacks a local. the doctor that is "helping" the locals cant figure out who attacked the local, but scientists in america find out that there are oversized monster loose. So they come there to do something about it. They hike through a large amount of africa on foot for days. They didnt bother thiking of flying there or maybe gettign a jeep right? Eventually they get attacked by a local tribe and sets the field on fire!
with truble they finally make it. But good doctor is gone searching for the monster. turns out wasp killed and left the stinger inside him (science fact: bees leave stingers because human skin is tougher than regular animal. wasp stingers are more durable, thus wasp will NEVER leave stinger in human skin, especially not the 50 times bigger one.)
The men that come with americans escape so the locals are being recruited to martch towards the mutated wasp. Apperently only 1 animal mutated while there are no news about others. another ridicule of this movie. As the men (and one woman, typical) camp wasp kills a python and then wants to attack them, but gets scared by fire. And then they just blow the shit out of wasps who apperently forgot how to fly. then a mother who is 20 times bigger than the regular mutated wasp shows up and starts touching them. smartly, they trap themself inside a cave with explosions! Yes, thats definatelly better than maybe... um... getting deeper in the cave perhaps? In the end mother nature does the work for them, silly people think they can take on the job.
A lot of bad decisions, plot holes and lack of simple logic was used when making this movie. especially how single huge wasp manadged to spread whole nest not being the mother. Stupidity and boredon was all i could come up with watching this movie.


Story: 3/10. Very weak. this movie could have been shown in 10 minutes.
Acting: 3/10. This wasnt as bad, considering what they had to act, nothing awasome though.
Sound: 1/10. Another complete musical score dissaster. at least no late sound this time. still very poor.
Sci factor: 2/10. They barely had anything right.
Lasting Appeal: 1/10. space radiation enlarged wasp that manadges to clone itself inside africa? no thanks.
Overall rating: 2/10.

Wow they actually used a popular toy as their poster image. That's just lazy.
