| I'm sure I heard Morgan Webb (Xplay) say that there is a way to secure your details, but I have been unable to figure it out. I'll do some more checking as soon as I can, as I type this my rig is crashing EDIT: Okay, everything I've been able to find seems to imply that deactivating Real-ID will remove your full name from being displayed in the friends list. This is done by going through the short (but difficult to spot) process of adding Parental Controls to your account. So I went through the setup, got the email key and changed the settings (took a total of around five minutes on my slow satellite internet) and booted up the game. The good news: my full name was completely removed from the game. The bad news: the entire friends menu was completely removed from the game. So... yeah. I don't know what else to try. As long as Facebook is paying Blizzard, it looks like there is no way around Real-ID. | |

| i don't really mind people knowing my real name, its not a big problem for me, but if people where conscious about it they could possibly at the create account stage give a false last name etc, but that seems to be the only way around it as far as im aware..... it is a great game though, i haven't been so engrossed in a sp campaign since mass effect 2 sucked me in......so far i have to say ME2 and SC2 are my top games of 2010 | |
