Drive In Sci-Fi: Robot Monster (1953) Robotmonster1953poster

A movie that has out-grossed its budged 62,5 times is here at last. Sadly it is somehow not added to the most profitable movies lists, probably they didnt bother with movies of that age. yay.
First we see two archaeologist and a mother forcing kids to take a nap in the middle of the day on a rocky ground where they are camping. the kids are like 10 year old, what the hell?
During that nap a lightning appears and then we are cut to a scene of lizards fighting, then triceratops fighting, then explosion and were back at the cave. what the hell was that? a Giant ape with cosmonauts helmet comes out of the cave. It contacts its master and gets orders to kidnap and destroy people. Then somehow we magically go to a time where humans are barely surviving afraid of the monsters, that just landed their first person on earth. ugh. they think they are the only humans left on earth. how long did we go in time, years? Apparently they are the only 5 people alive.
They have a plan, but it fails. the aliens shoots down the rocket like it shot down everyone. it destroys the space platform too. They are still the only survival. The aliens speak in riddles an confuse them more than scare them really. They decide to talk to him. after whole human civilization is destroyed now you try to talk him out of it. They try to apply on their emotions, and the destroyer alien seems to agree to meet them.
The humans think they should seek the peace because greatest human value is "conquering nature with pride". the alien wants to meet the girl only but they dont let her go, they tie her down, during the ruckus the kid runs towards the alien, because he has like no sense of survival whatsoever. he tells alien all thier secrets because apparently hes retarded too. And then alien fails to kill him. The monster think thinks "fuck weapons" and goes on brute force. he strangles the girl then kidnaps the woman.
Humans once again make a plan, this time a better one, luring the monster and freeing the girl. monster starts to learn what feelings are however and start to space the lives of remaining humans. So his master kills him and brings dinosaurs on earth. we get treated to same scenes as before, which is really cheap, but hey its 16.000 budget. And thats it, no ending on this one.

Story: 1/10. beyond bad.
Acting: 3/10. reasonable to some extent
Sound: 0/10. repeating electric shock sound for whole movie is really annoying.
Sci factor: 2/10. Ro-Man is no not that smart.
Lasting Appeal: 0/10. well, it didnt work.
Overall rating: 1/10.
