Drive In Sci-Fi: The Creeping Terror (1964)

This movies soundtrack is re-dubbed due to the director loosing the original. and it shows - its BETTER. the production value seems to be very cheap though. Anyway, spacecraft lands, or rather, appear on earth and a monster that looks like a girl with an ugly wedding dress creeps out. The police hurries to the "crash" site and since they are short-handed they ask a totally random couple that are driving by for help, puts them into their car and drives away to the crash site. The couple is cool with that too.
The monster eats the police man and the couple SLOWLY calls the for reinforcements on the radio. Soldiers arrive instantly and goes to search for the monster. They see it inside the spacecraft and that creature was trapped in some metal harness inside it. So they decided just to go back to town and set up HQ in sheriffs station. The government made a coverup to hide the visitors form outer space from public. The monster goes wild and eats some campers that are having sex with clothes on. the campers scream inside his stomach. The general still insists that it is kept secret and the relatives agree. they get some sort of doctor there too. Then we get a lecture why being bachelor will not be good for a character noone cares about. Meanwhile, army patrols the spacecraft like idiots walking back and forth. They then talk about where the creature can be from and what his planet would be like. its really only a narration. Somehow whole soldiers guard the craft the monster still eats more people. He even eats a group of picnicking children. They decide theres a monster number 2 on the loose and then everyone goes to a party to dance. they also dance like jerks. Monster pays a visit too and eats all the girls in the place. actually actors got messed up and one of them litteraly rips one of the girls dress off by accident. And they left the shot in. Thats how cheap this movie is.
The soldiers attack the monster but does. Then they decide to use grenades. The grenades only allow the monster to get loose though. They kill the monster but the spaceship transmits data about humans to their race. and they end them movie by theorizing that maybe the monsters wont come.

Story: 3/10. it was somewhat uninteligent.
Acting: 2/10. "hey! you ripped my skirt off!"
Sound: 3/10. better if only for the lack of the annoying soundtrack.
Sci factor: 1/10. very low due to monster eating while being locked up.
Lasting Appeal: 0/10. No, i dont want to remmeber this.
Overall rating: 2/10.
