Drive-in Sci-Fi: Atom Age Vampire (1960)

Some acress that is in love gets into an accident and her face becomes devastated by burns. Obviuosly she panicks about her looks more than her life. no wonder - shes blonde. then she is saved form suicide by some scinetists helper that offers her hope of treatment. the doctor, who seems to have his lips painted much more than the woman. they have a scene of histeria, bad acting, excitement and danger all at once. the she falls uncociuos and during that time the good doctor heals her. the effects come back however and they figure out the only way to help her is to kill another girl and extract some glands from her. apperently the scientsit is also a shapeshifter that turns into a monster during the night. Jekyl and Hyde anyone? infact the monster grows hair for him, woot. Apperently the way to turn himself back is to fill the palce with radiation and white smoke. now thats a true atomic monster. the girl tries to escape and meet her boyfriend but the evi lscienttist kidnaps her back. the police is trying to figure sometihng out but no luck so far, so he goes tok ill again, but the woman has a dog so the dog gets him off. dogs are always smart in movies hehe. eventually she gets cured but finds out the doc is monster who kills people. police is around and hears them, just perfect. then we got what looks like a very clumsy chase scene with intention to rape. and thne the cop fights the monster. he beats the crap out of the cop but then fails to make a run for it and gets killed by other cops. the old lovers reunite. a typical holywood ending.

Story: 6/10. More or less ok, i mean the whole falling in love and killing for it thing.
Acting: 0/10. Extremely terrible.
Sound: 2/10. The usual bad stuff.
Sci factor: 5/10. Well i guess they try there.
Lasting Appeal: 2/10. Uh, nothing spectacular about this one.
Overall rating: 3/10.
