Drive in Sci-Fi: Phantom From Space (1953) Phantomfromspacec

7:19, unindetified object spotted at alaska. they get even mroe precise about its speed height size course and everything else. eventually a white light passes their blockades and lands in santa monica. oh not its aliens again. the government is trying to find where it landed but eletronic disturbance kilsl thier radio. that is till the picnic site is discevered with 2 ciritcally wounded people. The surviving witness said it was "a guy with deep sea diving helmed on it" that was taking a walk. so humans decided to slap him with a wooden stick, jsut b ecause hes taking a stroll in the evening. wow were they paranoid back then. and this seems to be a repeating theme over couple movies. lets just kill anything we dont understand.
They get more eye-witness of walking alien and decide to believe in the faceless guy in spacesuit. meanwhile the guy thats cuasing interference and kills people enters oil storage and the oil storage explodes. the guy however remains untouched and keeps walking. poor oil fields owners. halfway into the movie we actually see the creature for the first time and it gives out radiation too. as soon as he seems thme he runs. a guy that cna withstand the blast ofoil refinery runs from couple cops and scientists? when cornered it turns himself invisible. thats a nice thing to have. the scientists meanwhile steal their helmet and clothes and bail with it. typically, the suit is indestructible, it cant be cut, it cant be burn but its magnetic. microscope helps to show it, i mean, you can penetrate it with light if microscope can do it. so it must be see-though. it repells acid too.
The alie shows up at the lab and steals his own clothes and they know its there. the alien speaks to them in morses code. hes runing out of air, so why do you land here in the first place sucker. the woman makes him visible and gets scared by that, what the hell. he makes a run for it, and suceeeds. so they instead try to figure out the code he left behind. they also just assume is a polytext based lifeform. they figure the code is soemthing it wants to send back to his base, but he has to stay around to breathe from his helmed once in a while so they jsut wait for him to return. the dog and some lightbulbs are there to help locating him once he comes back, and it works. the alien must be getting desperate. but no, its no alien, its just a journalist.
meanwhile the rela alien sneaks in from the back, but they catch him anyway. the idiot journalists flashes and it destroys the helmet, so he beats the journalist to death and bails for it. they run after it, thanks god for dog being able to see him. the lamps they have to see him so far was useless but it starts to work as they see him hiding near a rocket or some other thing of sorts. too bad the alien dies because of lack of air though. it was a humanoid afterall.

Story: 7/10. It was a god storyline, but the narattor ruied it completely.
Acting: 3/10. few main people were good, the support people were awful.
Sound: 7/10. much better than the regular bad music, and its 53 too, before they figured that everyone hated it too.
Sci factor: 5/10. this was a mix between scientific based movie and compete fantasy
Lasting Appeal: 3/10. just another aliens came and stuff happened type of movie.
Overall rating: 5/10.
