Drive in Sci-Fi: Brainiac (1962) BrainiacDVDcover

1661 in Mexico a man is burned to death for necromancy and other witchcraft. 300 years forward, a scientist is researching a comet passing by the earth. As it passes someone starts killing people and taking their brains out. The comet also "disappears". They eventually find a ancient sentence of inquisition stating the previously shown trial. The guy pretty much tells him he rose from the grave and is now revenging his killing. He then attacks the people responsible, or rather their ancestors via being a monster, using telepathy and various other things. The scientist that saw the comet has a suspicion about what happened, and both of them know, but neither takes action. Meanwhile he keeps killing everyone around because supposedly everyone we see on screen are descendants of inquisitors. He attacks his newly found friends but couple guys with flamethrowers show up and burn him inside the house (and the house doesnt catch fire). this is so random ending.
sorry this wasnt longer, but there really isnt much to see in this.

Story: 3/10. i can buy the witch back from the dea avenging his murderers but does a man pretending to be so smart has to be so stupid?
Acting: 1/10. i could do better.
Sound: 0/10. it looked like they voice-overed every single actor, badly.
Sci factor: 0/10. comet brings back dead wizards.
Lasting Appeal: 0/10. It certainly sucks the brain out of you.
Overall rating: 1.
