i have only run the battery down once to do a full recharge and i got just over 2hrs but that was from the factory, if you are using word or internet im guessing 2.5-3hrs max........mate it has a dual gpu, i7 tech with a ultrabright 1920x1200 screen its not meant to be used on battery, its a portable desktop replacement........if anyone buys a computer like this expecting battery performance they are living in a dreamworld..... if i was to game on battery it would be fully drained in around 35mins..........you cant have a machine sucking this much juice and not have it effect battery life....its not possible.....what wattage psu are you using with you desktop..........this needs 240watt to run at full....quite amazing for a notebook, but it sure sucks the battery..... | |

| i find it strange that PC gamer mentioned the battery life (if they mentioned it as a fault)... battery life should not really be a factor in this knd of performance laptop, for example fuel efficiency is not a factor when reviewing performance cars like ferrari, porsche etc if you want fuel efficient then get a daihatsu charade

| for those that don't understand what 3r3kos3 is stating....... just like there are many different cars for different people, IE those that want to go fast, have a elite car e.g a ferrari, porsche etc but those that want a car that is slow and does its basics well but wouldn't do well at a race track can get a toyota carolla or a daihatsu charade likewise those that want a notebook that does its job but that's about it can get a netbook or a dell inspiron, but those that want to have power to game at highest settings etc choose a performance machine, yes its not as practical as a non performance one, but boy does it go fast.....ferrari, lamo's etc arn't really designed for the family, likewise performance notebooks arent designed for people who want to sit in coffee shops using facebook... the same argument could be said for why people spend so much more to buy a high end gaming desktop....... | |
