hey guys i found this fantastic program last night, it seems to be a little like vista/windows 7 gadgets but MUCH MUCH better, it allows you to add a huge amount of personalization to your desktop, while not using any resources to speak of, it has heaps of skins so you can really customize it to suit your colour and visualization needs here's a link to the site and below is a screen shot of my new set-up notice all the cool features at the top of the screen.......that is only a tiny part of how much you can customize and each item can be dragged to exactly where you want it to be on the screen.....it runs in the background and you don't have to think about it once installed....

well ive been playing around with this tool a bit, and come up with my new set up without windows sidebar (finally! Very Happy)

I love this tool, the fact that it is so customisable is great.

Only strife for me though, is that it does not have a built in GPU (Graphics card) monitor or System heat monitor. Thats ok tho becuase i use a seperate heat monitor, CPUID HWMonitor.

other than that, amazing tool. there are about a billion combinations of gadgets and accessories for it, and the whole thing uses less resources than windows sidebar alone. For that reason, it already gets top marks. It runs by itself when u startup windows and you dont need to do anything once uve got it set up.

I have to say, this is the tool ive been looking for for a long time Very Happy cheers shadow.

Heres a Screenshot of my set up, only thing i dont have visible is the CPUID HWMonitor.

The reason i left them large is so you can read everything Wink
scroll to the right to see it on my other screen. (i have one 1680x1050 + a 1280x1024)

so yeah sorry about the epic pic Razz

looks great, im guessing you have a dual monitor set-up mate?, yeah it really is a great little program and im really liking it, i take it you couldn't get the temperature program to work?.....damn shame

anyway your screens look very clean, tidy and efficient and that's why i like this tool so much...enjoy mate, if you find any must have add-ons let me know ok.

Yeah man, i have my main screen at 1680x1050 res, and a second at 1280x1024 res.

Oh and I did get the temp thing running, but i find speedfan to be an unreliable heat monitor, and it was giving me weird results. also, you had to physically run speedfan on your desktop for it to work.
so i decided that CPUID is a better tool for heat anyways.

Here's a neweer SS with CPUID up and running and a few changes:
